How it works
How to sign a PDF online
Add a typed label (Latin or Chinese) or a PNG/JPG/WebP signature image in your browser — free, with no account. Choose size, bottom position, and whether to sign every page or only the last page.
This is a visible mark, not a certified e-signature. The diagram above the button shows schematic placement — not a true page preview.
- Open Sign PDF and add your file.
- Choose Typed label or Signature image, set size and pages (every page or last page only), then pick a bottom position.
- Review the placement summary, then click Sign PDF.

Why browser processing & tips
Why process PDFs in your browser?
Most PDF sites upload your file to a remote server first. That adds wait time, queueing, and means your document passes through infrastructure you do not control. LokaPDF signs PDFs entirely in your browser — file content is not uploaded to our servers. Signing locally keeps contracts off third-party servers. The tool works on Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone, and Android with no install.
Internal approvals, HR forms, rental agreements, and any PDF that needs a visible signer mark on every page or the signature page.
Tips
- Use Protect PDF after signing if the document must stay encrypted.
- For legally certified signatures, use a dedicated e-sign service.
- Typed labels support Latin and Chinese; use a signature image for handwriting or emoji.
